AutoDub respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and will respond promptly to valid copyright infringement notices.

It is our policy to remove content that infringes on the copyright of others. We will also terminate user accounts that are the subject of repeated copyright infringement allegations, in accordance with applicable law.

3. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe that content on AutoDub infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated copyright agent with the following information:

Required Information for DMCA Notice:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, or if multiple works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works
  2. Identification of the material that you claim is infringing and that should be removed, including information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material
  3. Your contact information, including your address, telephone number, and email address
  4. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  5. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
  6. Your physical or electronic signature

4. Counter-Notification Procedure

If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with the following information:

  1. Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal
  2. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
  3. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
  4. A statement that you consent to jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located
  5. Your physical or electronic signature

5. Response Timeline

We will process valid DMCA takedown notices promptly, typically within 24-48 hours of receipt. The allegedly infringing content will be removed or disabled pending resolution of the matter.

6. Repeat Infringer Policy

AutoDub has adopted a policy of terminating user accounts that are determined to be repeat infringers. We may also terminate accounts where appropriate under other circumstances.

7. False Claims

Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.
